Wanderers return home to face Peterborough United in their last league game before an international break.
The in-form Whites (who also play at Tranmere Rovers in the Papa Johns Trophy next Tuesday night) will be looking to keep their League One campaign on the boil after back-to-back wins which have taken them into the top six.
Peterborough dropped out of the early play-off places after a mid-week home defeat by Fleetwood Town.
Saturday’s fixture will also see Wanderers pay their respects to Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II with a minute’s silence before kick-off. Details of the day’s commemorative events can be found HERE
Ian Evatt: “We respect every opposition and we’ll do our due diligence on every opposition.
“But for me, we should really concentrate on ourselves and our own performance level and judge our performances based on how we impacted the opposition.
“Were we the best version of ourselves? The last couple of games we’ve been really good, but it’s only two days and we want to do that consistently throughout the season.
“This league is constantly asking you questions and giving you challenges and Peterborough are no different.
“It will be a really tough game. They’ve just come down from the Championship and kept most of the squad together.
“They are a dangerous attacking team and we need to be at our best to get a result.”
We have to try and respond on Saturday from the mid-week defeat.
“Nothing is ever won or lost in the opening two months of the season. We know there is a long way to go.
“We have to remain focussed on what is next and that is Bolton away, which is a game we are looking forward too.
“Bolton are a good footballing team. Ian has stamped his authority on how they play. It should be a good footballing game. Let’s hope we can come out on top.”
Wanderers will have striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson back in contention after missing five games with a hamstring injury.
Ex-Peterborough loanee Lloyd Isgrove is still out with a heel problem but boss Ian Evatt has an otherwise fully fit squad to select from.
Peterborough are still without midfielder Oliver Norburn and goalkeeper Harvey Cartwright but defender Nathan Thompson is able to play after passing concussion protocols.
Wing-back Joe Ward is rated 50-50 after picking up ankle knock in the mid-week loss to Fleetwood.
