Postecoglou is no stranger to winning finals, having done so with South Melbourne in the NSL, Brisbane Roar in the A-League and the Socceroos in the 2015 Asian Cup.
“You can’t go into it and say it’s just another game because it’s not,” he said.
“Our focus is on the stuff we can control. We can control our own football, we can control our own intent in the game and try and make the game be played on our terms, which we’ve done recently.”
Celtic’s side is set to include in-form Socceroos playmaker Tom Rogic, recently dubbed “little Messi” by his teammate Josip Juranovic.
Rogic won’t be the only Socceroo on show in the final, with attacking weapon Martin Boyle a key part of Hibs’ plans to upset Celtic.
A Boyle hat-trick secured Hibs a 3-1 semi-final win over Rangers last month.
“I will need a miracle for that to happen again,” Boyle said.
“It was just one of those days when everything fell for me, everything dropped, which was great.
“The squad played fantastically that day and the fans were excellent, so fingers crossed more of the same on (Monday morning).”
“Those games are going ahead, as of now, but we’re asking people to be as careful as they can, if you have any symptoms, if you think you might be ill, do not go, don’t go on the transportation, don’t go the pub, don’t meet your pals.
“You are likely to pass this on to other people, if you go, if you choose to go, be careful, try and avoid crowded public transport, we have also spoken to Scotrail and the bus owners, and we will try to put on as much transportation as we can, try and keep them less crowded.
“So if you can try and travel earlier, wait until later, things like that will really help us to try and space out the crowds and make sure you do a lateral flow test.
Celtic’s late, late show in Dingwall has the supporters buzzing ahead of Sunday’s League Cup Final and I’m backing them to win the first silverware of the season in 90 minutes at a general 4/7.

Ange Postecoglou’s side can still gave fans palpitations with their defending at times but they’re a joy to watch flooding forward and they’re sure to be fired up to lay down a trophy marker in the manager’s first season.
I know Hibs can raise their game as I tipped them here to beat Rangers in the semi-final but they’re 9/2 win tomorrow and that looks about right after some indifferent performances.
Celtic can still throw in a shocker and they might have been lucky to win in Dingwall but a peak performance and a win at Hampden looks the most likely outcome.
